La Mona is planned as an eco-friendly residential development on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Our primary goal is to bring together a community of like-minded people who share a common vision. building phasesThe La Mona residential community, just minutes from Golfo Dulce, is designed as a secure, gated community offering 35 single-family residential lots, ranging in size from 1/4 acre to 6 acres. Architectural plans are available. In addition to an enclosed recreation center with generous patios for activities such as yoga, dance, and social gatherings, amenities include an inviting swimming pool, guest cabins, stables, and equestrian and hiking trails.

La Mona development is offered in three phases. The grouping of eleven Phase I lots near the highway features an adjacent recreation center, pool and guest cabinas. These lots vary in size from approximately 900 sq. meters to 1210 sq. meters. They are bordered on three sides by rainforest, a year-round stream, and have a generous common green at their center. Reforestation Project

Corcovado, on the Osa Peninsula, along with the Golfito and Piedras Blancas Preserves are the most bio-diverse rainforests in all of central America. Among a multitude of other species, jaguars, toucans, capuchin monkeys, and scarlet macaws abound, offering unmatched opportunities to experience the tropical splendor of Costa Rica's flora and fauna first hand.

Homeowner’s Association
The La Mona community will have its own CC&R’s (covenants, conditions, & restrictions) governing use of the real estate, enforced by the La Mona Homeowner’s Association, and passed on to the new owners of the property. Annual homeowner association fees apply for such expenses as maintenance of common areas, roads, trails, pool, community center, etc. which can be greatly offset by income from the guest cabinas and community center activities.

golfito dog clinicLand Sea Services is proud of advances made in Golfito to further the humane treatment of dogs and cats. Community groups such as ZAPPA and McKee are reaching out to give low and no-cost care to 'under privileged' and street critters, greatly reducing the population of homeless animals in our area. Your contributions make possible the Low Cost and Free Clinics being sponsored by area volunteers and veterinarians. Each contribution of $10.00 sponsors a dog or cat that wouldn't otherwise be able to receive vaccinations and spaying - and wouldn't have been considered adoptable! Your  generous contribution of $200.00 will sponsor a neighborhood clinic with free services to 20 needy animals.  That's a potential reduction of over 100 unwanted births in a neighborhood in the first year alone.  Do the math?! It's a loving and needed investment. Please consider supporting our "pet project" by bringing a donation to our office when you visit Golfito.
